Habitação social no centro do Rio: uma alternativa para a reabilitação urbana

This paper aims to deal with the issue of Heritage and preservation center in Rio de Janeiro. As this is a very broad topic was the focus of this dissertation focused on the issue of reuse of empty properties as social housing. Conjugated thus equity and housing, considering the latter as a resource capable of contributing to the rehabilitation of historic centers, since this function ensures the active presence of people during the day and night.
