The amount of data produced by the Brazilian s organizations is increasing faster every passing day in the last few years. Moreover, nowadays, the Data Management has became one of the most important practices. Furthermore, this research has aimed to identify, through bibliographic and documental research, the state-of-the-art of the Data Management. We have drawn the following conclusions: the Data Management tools are present in all the business processes with specific software and hardware tools to each one Internet has became today the most important 'environment', and a long discussion about the Organization s employees welfare face the Data Management technology have to be done.
