Resumo
This article presents and discusses the work done by the Center for Reference and support the indirect victim of violence. The Center was established in 1988 by the Department of Justice and Defense of Citizenship of the Sao Paulo State to support the indirect victims of violence. The data presented here was obtained through participant observation and interviews with professionals who work in the center and with the users. We tried to identify the core aspects of this experience, both in terms of management and the resoluteness of the actions undertaken.
