Resumo
The earnings distribution of the Brazilian working population lately underwent considerable changes, which are a result, in one hand, of the new requirements demanded for labor hiring, by the present productive and organizational processes, and in the other hand, of the economic conjuncture policies aiming to stabilization, which limit the opportunities of new jobs in the formal labor market. The impacts of these transformations are showed in the composition of the average earnings, inside and outside the firms. The research aims to examine the transformations in the earnings composition of Brazilian workers, according to the situation of labor contracts, gender and the segmentation of the labor market inside the firms.
