Resumo
The work intend to be the fírst in the woman psychology fíeld, to observe breast-feeding in a social-culture perspective. It is a non experimental field research realized among women who breast-feeded their sons. The method used to collecting data was life history. The population studied consist on thirty women: ten of middle-class, ten of lower-class, and ten grandmothers. It was close a comparative analysis of the women breast-feeding experience among the three groups studied. Based in this informations we can conclude that breast-feeding far from it be a singular biological fact, it is a social construction ideological instrument of oppression women.
