A new style of life and work has called the attention on digital social networks and media in general. It’s the 'digital nomadism'. The term is used to name people traveling while working remotely. This study aims to raise the decisive factors that enable the life project designed by Brazilian 'digital nomads'. Starting from a theoretical framework discussing work flexibility, this research explored the profiles of these individuals, their motivations and how they enable supposedly freer lifestyle and working mode. The reports were obtained through interviews with sixteen professionals, freelancers or entrepreneurs, which, after a content analysis, showed a disapproval of the romantic discourse around the 'digital nomadism', despite the confirmation of the increased sense of freedom. It was noted how the Brazilian 'digital nomads' develop their own lifestyle.
