Resumo
Autarchy and federal foundations, qualified as Executive Agencies, are being endowed to more administrative autonomy due to management contracts. Through this written agreement, the Federal Government intends to promote a different culture, shifting from merely bureaucratical controls to an effective results orientation. As such, the management contract will be of utmost importance permitting the supervisory ministery a better monitoring of the institutions performance; especially regarding the success of the implementation of the managerial model in the Brazilian Public Administration.
