Resumo
The purpose of this study is to understand and analyse the use of Result-oriented contracting between the Social Assistance Department of São Paulo City and non-profit organizations, more specifically regarding the provision of residential care services. We will present the characteristics of this new method of relationship between the State and civil society, and evaluate how the result-oriented agreements can collaborate to the improvement of the effectiveness of residential care services in the city of São Paulo
