Resumo
This article aims to inform public policy security in conflict mediation, designed by the Municipal Secretary of Urban Safety as performed by the executing agents for municipal security, the Metropolitan Civil Guard. The mediation is a program implemented in 2012, where the local Government seeks through preventive policing and community approach, promote changes through the culture of peace and trust between State and society. Recently implemented, there is no major information about the impact that social conflict mediation has led into the society, but despite this, the iniciative owned to the Government's an honor by the United Nations (NU).
