Resumo
Sustainability indicators have been proposed to address the need of measuring the distance between the reality of a given society and its sustainable development goals. This paper, based mostly on bibliographical research, analyses five indicators and identifies challenges to be overcome in their construction in order to allow them to promote behavioral changes and enlighten public decisions.
