That research intends to analyse Geisel s government and the II National Development Plan, checking if that economic policy represented the implementation of a new pattern of capital accumulation in Brazil, or if it was simply a more advanced of accumulation of durable goods which was already in practice in Brazil in the previous economic plans. Did the II NDP really increase or decrease the Brazilian dependency in the international context? Is this plan as heterodox as the I NDP or does it represent an orthodox shift? What was the role and the weigth of the economic administrators of Geisel government?
