Resumo
Continuing former initiatives of interviewing different groups of intellectuals in Brazil, the present project focuses on the sociologists. Talking about their family background, university life and academic career, our aim is to understand the intellectual debate of each generation, the role of these social scientists, the limits of sociological analysis and the dilemma of Sociology in the contemporary society and in Brazil, in particular.
