The Araraquara Department of Education focuses on achieving, by 2025, 75% of educational attendance of children, with a growing need of 15 percentage points on this indicator. To contribute to that strategy, this paper analyzes the students’ attendance and enrollment databases consolidation, in order to provide several recommendations for its improvement, pointing out possibilities for deepening the analyses, suggestions on how to better read the data, questioning the consistency of the databases and methods to evidence-based decision. In addition, it suggests a presentation for the Araraquara Department of Education with unfolded topics and its support to the recommended implementation.
