Resumo
This text describes an empirical research carried out in Brazil by 1996, comprehending information service companies in order to better understand their side in a partnership relation where the IT services are the subject. This is a viewpoint not approached before the Brazilian context. The study reveals important conclusions which make easier the understanding of outsourcing.
