Resumo
The research raises questions about the access to sheet music and its relationship to the dissemination of Brazilian classical music repertoire from a case study focused on Sesc Partituras, a website for free download of digitalized scores. The study was conducted through a questionnaire with site users and statistical data on access generated by Google Analytics from 2012 to 2014. It was concluded that although the experiences of digital collections of Brazilian music scores available online are recent, they represent a breakthrough and can contribute greatly to the dissemitation of Brazilian classical music.
