Resumo
This research analyzes the main graduate centers and research institutes in economics in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, from their documents, syllabus, rules and the published material of their main members. We also intend to use some conversations with that members in order to understand how the decision process was analyzed from the inside. The interviewed life history allows us to enter in the world of emotions, in the rationality bounds of the historical actor. When we broke the standard sketch, we can develop relations between the agent and the historical network. The memory with its faults, distortions, and inversions becomes an analysis instrument to explain the present from the understanding of the past through someone that has lived the facts.
