Resumo
The main objective, of this exploratory research, was to amplify the knowledge related to the transition period of the middle-age man, commonly known as the middle-age crisis. Many studies have been published on infancy and adolescence, but very little has been studied on the period of adult development. Since little has been written on this period of adulthood it is necessary to verify if the factors and man symptoms, normally associated with the crucial moments of this period, are pertinent to our reality before any profound empiric research is conducted. This exploratory research is expected to help develop hypothesis that allow us to identify the determining factors that lead to the events related to the middle-age crisis.
