Resumo
This work comes from the dissertation carried out at the end of the course Professional Master's in Management and Public Policies addressing the issue of results oriented management in the city of Osasco and dissemination of strategic planning for its employees. From this, urged the need to address the context of planning involving indicators for the construction of public policies, with emphasis on the formulation and evaluation stages. On the understanding of the importance of these phases in the process, aimed a greater understanding of how they relate to each other, seeking to be conceptual and at the same time, purposeful in the adoption of measures that can improve the Brazilian public management. Thus, the obtained conclusion was the need for continuous observation and monitoring of indicators at all stages.
