Resumo
The case portrays the real dilemma experienced by Alexandre, founder of the 4th largest Brazilian social mobilization movement for health called #VEMPRAGUERRA (e.g., Tuchlinsk, 2020). He joined efforts with his brother Ricardo and a friend Gustavo (both resident physicians) to structure a project during the first half of 2020. Amid Covid 19 medical supplies shortage, they were able to gather R$ 6 million (about US$ 1.2 million at that time). This funding was summoned to assist Hospital das Clinicas de Sao Paulo, the largest Brazilian health complex. After the end of the project, Alexandre finds himself at a professional crossroads, figuring out how this experience can impact his career pathways.
