Resumo
The purpose of this research is to enlarge the knowledge concerning the independent or individual inventor as innovator or entrepreneur, mainly the inventor coming from public and private R&D labs, and to examine the professional status and other general characteristics of these individual inventors compared to the finding of similar research in other countries. Finally, the governmental instruments to aid this kind of inventor will be examined.
