Resumo
This paper has the purpose to present the social movements and human rights defender criminalization theme. In view of the recent events happened in Rio Grande do Sul involving members of MST where they were treated as criminals. This theme becomes deeply important in order to bring up questions and debates forms to reduce the eventual damages caused by criminalization.
