Resumo
Amid the reemergence of legitimacy questions and research within the framework of international law, we have developed this study to shed a light on the issue of the legitimacy of international courts. A close examination of the literature state of the art seems to authorize the interpretation of a lack of systematization, uniform concept and classification in the discussions currently developed by authors. This study then suggests a conceptual framework for organizing the current literature and illustrates its application, in the form of a case study, to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.
