Resumo
This article has two objectives: (1) investigate and propose a definition for the expression sustainable development that better contribute to the organizational studies; and, (2) present a theoretical contribution that shows a link between sustainable development and organizational studies. Some epistemologies perspectives and some categorizations for the sustainable development have been researched, which have been related to the Maggi's (2006) theory of organizational act.
