Resumo
The aim of this work is studying the evolution of environmental dimension that are shaping up in the industrial enterprise activities, especially refered to dentification, characterization, and analysis of companies' managerial and operational practices in accord of each stages of environmental concerned of their answers and internai responsabilities. To characterizate this aim, it was searched for a teorical model that could identify the general proposals that companies might realise facing the environmental dimensiono In making this work, it was verified that industrial companies and their relations with the environmental pressions and problems have been presenting the folow patterns: no answering or ignoring the pressions and problems grants the company a non-conformity position; answering after arising pressions and problems grants the company a reactive position; the company that is in transiction is that the answer is simultaneous to the pressions and problems; a proactive company bring forward solutions that are included in broad view and longer time concerns, searching for neutralising threats at the same time that taking benefits from a fitting treatment to environment. An upper levei than this it will develop as result of the evolution of the relationship pression/answer and of perceptions, concepts, and practices relating to this relationship. The uppest levei, that it could called 'sustanaible and responsible', it will be possible in so far as it will get its bearing especially on the strenght of generation agreement, fulfilling the goals of Sustanaible Development that, in a broader sense, aims to promoting the harmony among the human beings and between humanity and nature.
