The coronavirus pandemic has changed the workplace dynamics of many multinational companies throughout large adoption of permanent home-office policies or hybrid work mode. In 2021, PepsiCo announced the “Work that Works” program, which is a global shift in the workplace policy for global associates. As office locations begin to reopen, Work that Works redefines what the workplace looks like and how it can be used. In that context, this thesis aims to analyze the evolution of workplace policies in multinational corporations and the impact of these policies on women workforce. Relying mainly on a case study approach based on PepsiCo, added to a literature review, the objective of this research is to contribute to the reduction of gender gap within organizations and better decision-making regarding workplace policies.
