Resumo
The present thesis has the purpose to discuss the extent of the means used by companies (of the industrial pole of São Paulo) for motivating its employees to participate in the decisions. The objective is to identify and to analyze the means applied to motivate individuals so that they produce more and more in amount and quality in the companies that adopt the system of participative management. It approaches the main theories on the motivational process of behaviourist, cognitive and psychoanalytic orientations, as well as the theories about the motivation under the organizational prism, which contribute to the intersection among the studies of psychology and administration. Il also approaches theories engaged to the individual's emancipatory interest, where the theory of communicative action, created by Habermas, delineates an original tonality in this work.
