Resumo
This final paper’s goal is to comprehend the 'abortion' phenomenon in its juridical and social angles. It explores the current Brazilian criminal legislation about the matter, as briefly analysis its compatibility before de Brazilian Constitution. Subsequently, data about de impact of abortion, in its many ways, in Brazilian society are presented. This paper also examines abortion regulation in foreign legislation, verifying how they affect the real world. Finally, it brings several alteration proposals of Brazilian criminal law related to the theme, in Brazilian congress, and makes its own suggestion, which is the enlargement of legal hypothesis of pregnancy interruption.
