Resumo
The main purpose of this thesis is the theoric of the possibi1ity, or not, of intervention in the superior discussed cognitive process using 1earning techniques. It is discussed a1so if these forms of intervention produce qua1itative1y significant gains in cognition. We believe that methods such as the 'Directed Elaboration', whose basic proposal is to make the children reflect upon contents of the world in which they are induded, as well as the methods which use technological instruments as the computer, can be considered ways of intervening in cognitive development.
