Resumo
This paper reports the authors’ experience as dissertation and thesis advisors. They sustain that the development of a reflexive attitude in research may lead to the renewal of administrative thought, organizational practice, and public management and policy. They argue in favor of the researchers’ commitment to their own ontological and epistemological views, as well as to the application of the knowledge obtained from their research.
