This study aims to analyze the competition on cable TV industry in Brazilian municipalities. Last decade, the technological convergence permitted the cable TV companies offers other products like broadband and phone. This changed the competition on sector. To explain the entry choice, we estimated the size market that attracts cable TV, broadband and 'triple-play' companies. Ours results show that 94.4% of Brazilian municipalities haven’t economical conditions to attract any kind of companies. When we assumed that markets are inter-related, it’s easier to entry two 'triple-play' companies than two cable TV companies. Besides, the presence of cable TV companies or broadband companies expands the 'tripe-play' consumption.
