Resumo
This work refers to the Quality of Life in Brazil, talking into consideration the influence of technological evolution wheather to make this Quality of Life better or worse all over the country may compared with other country under the same conditions. Nevertheless, the technological evolution does not produce an equivalent increase of the Quality of Life, which implises an invertion of logic. This work suggests the changging of this logic to avoid the malign effects of the progress so that technology evolution may benefit the Quality of Life. Chiefly, this work shows that Southern Region has had better developing during the period previously referred. The Federal District shows the best Quality of Life, immediately followed by the sate of Rio Grande do Sul. The Nothern part of the country displays the lowst indexes.
