Resumo
This research intends to investigate the criteria used to evaluate scientific contributions in periodicals and conferences in the field of Business Administration in Brazil. The first part consists of an exploratory study focusing on the criteria that should be used to define the quality of a scientific contributions. The second part comprises an evaluation of which criteria are in fact used in the evaluation of Brazilian scientific research in the field. The final objective is to propose a model of criteria to evaluate scientific work in Business Administration in Brazil.
