Resumo
The objective of this research project is to investigate the relationship between foreign direct investment and competition policy in emerging economies. The study contains three parts. The first one reviews the recent evolution of competition policy and FDI flows in developing countries. The second one observes possible effects of FDI upon market contestability. The third one provides a stocktaking of the issue in the context of regional agreements.
